Dube is Not the Impact Player for CSK in IPL Final Against GT

Dube is going to miss out the final due to sickness. This Indian player is going to be the impact player. The IPL final between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Glorious Titans (GT) was a nail-biting encounter that showcased some exceptional performances from both teams. While GT emerged victorious, it is crucial to analyze the individual contributions and evaluate the impact players from both sides. In this regard, it is evident that Shivam Dube, the all-rounder from CSK, failed to deliver as an impact player in the crucial IPL final.

Struggles with the Bat:

In a high-pressure match like the IPL final, teams rely on their key players to step up and make significant contributions. Unfortunately for CSK, Shivam Dube failed to rise to the occasion with the bat. Batting in the middle order, Dube was expected to provide stability and firepower to CSK's innings, but he struggled to get going.

Dube's lackluster performance with the bat was evident as he managed to score only 15 runs off 22 deliveries. His slow strike rate put immense pressure on the CSK batting line-up and restricted their ability to accelerate the scoring rate. In a game where every run mattered, Dube's inability to make a substantial impact proved costly for his team.

Bowling Woes:

Apart from his batting shortcomings, Dube's bowling also failed to create an impact in the IPL final. CSK needed their bowlers to contain the potent GT batting line-up, but Dube's offerings with the ball were far from impressive. He conceded 28 runs in his two overs without taking a wicket.

In a crucial final, it is crucial for a player to perform in both departments to elevate their team's chances of winning. Dube's lack of effectiveness with the ball further compounded the challenges faced by CSK. The inability to pick up wickets or contain the opposition batsmen significantly dented CSK's aspirations of lifting the IPL trophy.
